HERE ARE SOME STEPS YOU CAN TAKE TO STAY SAFE
IF YOU'RE FEELING SICK, PLEASE STAY HOME Pay attention to the signs of fever and any other cold/flu-like symptoms. If you feel worse or think it is an emergency, get in-touch with your healthcare provider, otherwise call before you get medical care. Unless direct medical care is needed, stay home.
COVER COUGHS & SNEEZES, IMPROVE HAND HYGIENE & MINIMIZE FACE CONTACT
Viruses are said to spread mainly from person to person in respiratory droplets of coughs and sneezes and can reach up to approximately 12 feet, with symptoms appearing 2-14 days after exposure. Viruses are also spread via contaminated hands. Therefore, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when you cough or sneeze or use the inside of your elbow, throwing the tissue(s) in the trash thereafter. Wash your hands immediately with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not readily available, clean your hands with a hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol. Cover all surfaces of your hands and rub them together until they feel dry. Avoid rubbing your eyes and unnecessary touching of the face.
STAY INFORMED Look for updates from your local news and the Center for Disease Control. We will continue to provide you with updated information as it becomes available.
